The fuse found on the high voltage board is a Bus Cartridge fuse, grey in colour with a black band on one end. This is in a Panasonic Microwave Model NN-S561BF. I find it hard to make out the amperage rating. Does anybody know?
If it is on a high voltage side it will not be 250V. More like 2.5Kv I agree with Tim. Microwave ovens are not for the novice. They can store enough power to kill you even after the plug is removed from the wall. If you are not 100% sure of what you are doing, put the cover back on & take it to someone experienced.
