dryer still keeps going when door is open?

just replaced the thermistat on a hot point first edition tumble dryer but it keeps working when the door is open how can i stop this from happening

It seems to me that either you have not wired the door switch correctly or that there maybe a wire off or the switch itself maybe at fault.
