Goodmans GLCD17W2DVD - Vertical yellow line on screen?

I have a Goodmans 17" LCD TV/DVD Combo. After about 10 minutes of it being in on it has a faint yellow line down the left hand side of the screen, this line then eventually turns into what I can only describe as what looks like barcode bars. Please could someone let me know if this is repairable and how much it would roughly cost if it can be mended. Thanx.
