My Diplomat HJA8630 is not draining which prevents the cycle from finishing?

Hi, I'm trying to fix a Diplomat HJA8630 Integrated Dishwasher. Its basically not draining. I've taken it out and run it through a full cycle which I've managed by taking the waste pipe, ensuring the outlet is at a lower level that the outlet behind the machine and letting the waste water run out. If the outlet is higher then no water drains which I'm asuming means that the pump is broken???

How should I check this and how can I repair it?
