rough gear shit galaxy diesel/ intermittent /automatic?

can anyone help galaxy 52 reg 1.9 diesel auto box intermittent problem works fine then suddenly has a bumping motion when changing. this will happen a day or two then it will go away for maybe 3 weeks and then back.very harsh gear change thought it was a mounting but does not seem so.
