how do i regulate my 400 day anniversary clock?

There is a small disc above the 4 balls on top of the pendulum. Turn this left or right to regulate the clock. It should be marked as to which direction to turn it. About a quarter turn will increase/decrease the speed of the clock by several minutes in a 24 hour period.
