Harley Davidson 1990 sportster running problems?

Thanks John..just tried putting the choke on but no still cuts out. Reading on some forums the sypmtons also sound like the crank sensor. So im going to have do it by elemination replace the coil regulator and crank sensor.

Does the engine recover a little if you apply some choke, indicating a fuelling fault? If not, maybe the ignition coils are breaking down due to heat build up?
