How can I fix my stereo's sound Techwood nt76?

You can power it up and everthing look's to work but there's no sound

my techwood receiver has a similar problem except that the right channel won't put out sound sometimes until i turn the volume up to a certain level then it cuts back in...?....any ideas on what could be the problem?
