Mend Diplomat Hob Comes Up

Diplomat hob- when turned on comes up on L's ?

When switching on my electric hob the letters L comes up against all of the rings and I am unable to switch them on. I can't find my instructions and do not know what to do. Help!!

Diplomat Kitchen Appliances, Electric Cookers Hob Comes Up

Hi Debbie, your hob has the child lock activated hence the 'L'. You can unlock by turning it on and then pressing the middle and bottom right buttons simultaneously for about 3 seconds. Sorry but I can't remember how to permanently unlock it.
