i need to reset an advent?

model number - 4489 advent xp how do i reset it but in an easy way

Advent Audio, In-Car Audio Reset Model Number

It's an Avent Notebook model 4489 rather than a car radio.

What do you mean "reset" - why want to reset - what's going wrong?

I'm unaware of any "restet" function on any computer other than powering off and on again - that resets the hardware but not the software.
