Mend Triton Shower No Power

Triton shower problem?

I switch the isolator switch on and the little red light comes on fine, I then switch the shower switch on and the little red light goes off and nothing happens!! No trip, no nothing!

useally a knackered switch.

bypass the switch and try the shower and you'll find it'll work and won't trip. (only for testing purposes)

I've checked this and cut the wires back, so nice, clean connections, same problem.

check for bad connections in the switch.
they are useally blackened.
