i am a motorcycle mechanic and in my experience harleys use a taper roller bearing in their wheels, you need to knock the old ones out with a drift and fit the new ones but the old ones will have a few shims that go on the end of the spacer that goes between the bearing and this may not be the right amount of shimming needed for a new bearing the only way to tell is to fit them and do up the wheel spindle and see if it gets too tight if it does then it need more shims between the bearings and if its has play in the wheel bearing then it needs less shimming, good old harleys hey ! why dont they just use sealed ball bearings in races like the japs ?never mind good luck.
