When I returned to my machine this morning it had stopped mid way through hot program and there was a kind of burning smell although no smoke. Cleaned all filters and water bottle but it will not now start cold or hot program. Removed top and back but could not see anything for simple reset.
I have an avo and can do basic circuit checking.
if the lights on the front flashes as if the program has been set and will not start when you press the start button then I would suspect the diffuser button press has broken behind the fascia.common problem.part around £10.you can remove the fascia and control pcb and directly press the button on the pcb to prove this is the fault.the part that breaks looks like a spiral plastic airfix bit and it breaks away from the edge
