The upper body is easily removed - only involving a few Phillips-head screws and one star-type. Fortunately the star-type screw is readily accessible so any multiple head driver handle (magnetised) will do. Firstly remove the push buttons on the top by levering them off with a flat blade screw-driver. Remove all covers, dust bag cavity, top-mounted filter, etc. Start removing the screws from under the handle then work your way around the dust bag cavity and work towards the power/motor end.
