I have not had my toilet apart but suddenly we have a problem with the close coupled toilet leaking into pan after flushing. Also sometimes it seems as if water is still slowly coming into the cistern at the same time as it is leaking out
The water level is rising in the loo cistern due to the fill valve either having a worn washer or requiring adjustment...the fact that water is running into the bowl is due to the automatic overflow on the flush unit.
