Nissan Micra SX 04 Service Code?

Hi,

Can anyone provide me with a code or key to turn off the reminder for my Micra's annual service?

1000 miles before the service is due, the computer reminds you each time you start the car, once the 1000 miles is up, it just stays there all the time. I have had the car serviced but not by a Nissan dealer and the garage I went to said there would be a code or something to turn it off.

Can anyone help?

I had the same question and found the answer on the Micra sports club site.
On the car's computer goto
Maintanance-Service- press and hold the OK button until the screen changes. Set Next will appear to allow you to reset it to a further 9000 miles.
