Domestic Freezers are typically set to run at −18 °C (0°F)
I recently heard a radio programme about Clarence Birdseye, the pioneer of frozen food, who arbitarily set 0°F as the strorage temperature because he liked round numbers - I have no idea of the truth of this but most freezers are run at this temperature - there is little difference as far as the food is concerned - frozen is frozen - you just don't want it thawing out by accident.
