Broken Renault Clio immobliser?

hi back again, i was told by a renault mechanic to disconnect the battery for more than 30 min,but i left mine over night it is supposed to reset the immobiliser. it worked for me. {remember your radio code} but you will still have to sort your crankshaft senor out as i think this was the start of your problem

hi, my clio has had a problem starting,red light working enter key red light goes off, try to start engine . some times starts drive about town park up then wont start.found the problem to be the crankshaft sensor or {top dead centre] sensor same thing. local auto electrician fitted new one works ever time, also improved perfomance .price £62 including VAT said he had fitted 30 this year hope this helps best of luck
