servis caress 1000A keeps filling up with water?

every time I finish a cycle or even when I have not used my machine, it fills up with water over a period of 24 hours, full

2 possibles
1) either the inlet water solenoid valve Hot or Cold letting through usually caused by grit under the washer seat
or a swollen washer not seating.
2) machine could be connected to the sink u bend and be back siphoning the sink water into machine.
