Mcculloch Chain Saw 38cc 2.3 MacCat?

Someone gave me an old chainsaw, it hadn't been used in about 10 years. Put fresh gas in it, it fired up and ran. Although the idle adjustments seem to be out of whack, there are 3 adjustment screws....two that say Hi - Lo and the other that says Idle. Does anyone know the correct settings?

Hi, I have the same saw and took it apart for new fuel lines. In putting it back together, curiosity got the best of me and I adjusted the High / Low screws. Now, it's very hard to start...just gotta keep pulling it 10x and then she'll stall after about 2 cuts...then pull 10x again. WhaddIdo?

The Hi & Low adjustments are for the dealer only. The idle adjustment can be adjusted by the user, turn clockwise to increase idle speed which is often the best to try if the saw is hard to start or runs and then stops. If the saw runs but the chain moves when idling then turn anticlockwise to reduce the idle speed so the chain stops turning. I found that during use the idle screw slowly turns itself anticlockwise making the saw hard to start.
