Clio computer corrosion?

i would try some fine sandpaper on the plug connectors, to take off the carbon build up. they are talking crap about new wiring looms and computers i think. Its the same with the other conectors, like the coil, just sandpaper the connectors. Just looking at the pins you should see black or grey which is the build up of cr*p. as soon as you see silver its fine. Try it anyway and let me know how u get on

Thats why I no longer work in a dealership or car repair shop
I do work on cars on the side for extra $$ thou...after 25 years of what you are experiecing I have seen alot of rip offs ...dealership and other ......cars under waranaty with coolant leaks that the service manage wants to put coolant leak stop in for a bad block .........CADILLAC at that

I have never heard of such a repair unless car had water damage or a water leak near computer ........
They make new computer connectors and wiring repairs for such problems ...........could always get junk yard connector and splice into wiring harness and they also sell used computers .....sounds like they are trying to blow you out the water and don`t really want to work on it .........after 25 years at GM dealership I have seen this happen ......they proably knocked the labor so high that the tech will be glad to fix it ...if you OK the repair
See how much labot will be ...hell the whole wiring harness is high I know .....think I`d want a second opion eh
