hello, to tune almost any chainsaw ,turn up the tick over screw till the saw will tickover and keep running even it it is a little to fast .then adjust the screw marrked L untill the saw runs at is fastest with touching the throttle this could in or out ,then turn down the tick over speed the saw should keep running then fine tune this screw once more for smooth running ,then give this about a 1/4 turn out this will make the saw a little rich and help with throttle response ,then rev the saw flatout and ajust the H screw untill max rpm and then turn this screw untill your saw changes note and starts to four stroke and sounds like its misfiring ,this ensures there is plenty of fuel when the saw is working hard ,check fuel pipe for air leaks ,and that air filter is clean before adjustments are made ,hope this helps ,
