Mend Flavel 210 Gas Cookers Ignition

leisure gas oven won't light?

Flavel Leisure 210 gas oven - hobs and grill work just fine, ignition button (battery powered) won't work - have replaced battery and when you turn the gas to 'S' to start it no gas comes out and when you use a match it does not light. any clues?
