My AEg fridge (no freezer) has power but the digital temp display keeps rising, the alarm is constantly on and now after two weeks it has stopped coolong. Is it worth repairing? and if so what needs repairing?
Beyond econmic repair (Only the overload cut-out and thermostat are fixable but it is very unlikely to be the thermostat and the overload cut out will not normally fail permanently unless the compressor motor itself has self destructed given domestic fridges/freezers are designed as sealed units and not designed for repair compressor replacement is not exonomically viable.)
