The water cooler has suddenly stopped flowing. I have replaced the filter and the supply from mains appears okay. The ice dispenser is still fine. Is there a solenoid or whatever at the back?
I really appreciated your answer and the How to Mend It service. I searched high and low for a solution to our similar Samsung fridge problem.
We have now contacted Samsung service (via Domestic and General) and they have confirmed the fault and extended warranty. Neither Currys nor D&G knew anything about this! Thanks a bunch, particularly since we bought our fridge 4 years and 11 months ago!

Spoke with Samsung service - all related to the fridge back panel being a design fault and icing up. They have extended the warranties on these to 5 years, arranged an engineer visit two days hence. I call call that great service
