Saxo cd Player wont play cd's when engine is running?

i have a saxo 1.5 desire diesel, my cd player works when ignition key is turned but wont work as soon as you start the engine.

Anyone got any ideas how to solve this?

If this is a non standard set, I think you have the two power leads the wrong way round.....one supplies the memory when the set is off (permanent live) the other provides the juice when the ignition is on.
