What's wrong with my dishwasher? It's a Bosch Exxcel and check water light ?

Has the water supply been interrupted during the cycle? I've a brand new Bosch slimline Exxcel which only on third time of using it the machine was still running over 4 hours into cycle. Red "Check water" light was on!!!! Having worked my way through the handbook trouble shooting I discovered mains water had been interrupted by water supplier without warning at 2.30 in the morning. When normal water supply was returned, machine worked fine, now 3 weeks old.
