Mend Ferroli F30 Boiler Central Heating Fault

Problem with my Ferroli F30 boiler?

I have a Ferroli F30 boiler which is about 4 years old. It developed a problem a little while ago. When running hot water the water runs cold, hot, cold, hot. It is nigh on impossible getting a hot bath as when the boiler kicks in it is only on for a few seconds, then extinguishes, relights etc. I have changed the thermistor sensors but this has not cured the problem. I have noticed that even when the CH is on the boiler keeps coming on/off all the time. Any ideas what the fault could be???

Water runs hot then cold then hot and so on. You can hear the boiler fire up and then cut out.
Central heating appears to work fine.

Any ideas???

my boiler ignites for 5 seconds then after about 5 minutes relights again

hi I have a ferolli f30 boiler, I bled my radiators but then the pressure dropped to 0. does anyone know how to getthe pressure back up please??? CHEERS DAN

ive got an ferroli f 30 model boiler i havent put my heating on for quiet some time im trying to do so now it dosent work the lights flashing nuffins coming on tho my thermstate had a F on it nothing eles appeares

Fan venturi
Its a small plastic funnel shaped thing that can get blocked

Try cleaning it out or replace it - about £4.00

sounds like air pressure related
suspect defective venturi or try removing flue restrictor

yeah mate exactly what the problem was with mine and you described it perfectly---it is your heat exchange valve what is at fault--about 50 pound mate plus fitting charge---if your in england plum center has them
