How can I stop the alarm on my Hotpoint FF187E Fridge Freezer from bleeping?

Hi all, my hotpoint FF187 Fridge Freezer alarm won't stop bleeping. The freezer still works fine and the motor is still working. It's just the alarm. I know it is used for temperature control which indicates that the fridge is not at the right temperature. The green light at the top of the fridge is fine too which is odd and is why I'm confused because other people have complained about flashing lights and my fridge freezer hasn't done that yet. Again it's just the stupid alarm. I've turned it off by the mains and left it off for awhile and turned it back on and it still gives the problem. I've even tried turning off just the fridge. I've had it for under a year with the waranty expiring in September. Really weird. Please Help
