my kenwood A901 has blown up!?

My Kenwood was mixing some dough very nicely, then suddenly started making a strange, whirring noise and nasty smelling smoke came out of it! I thought it might even catch fire so I hastily unplugged it. It is now not working at all. Does anyone have any ideas as to what the problem may be and how I could fix it?
