pete w, i guess u are not a plumber as you're info is wrong, when u bleed a heating system always start at the ground floor not the highest rad, put the pressure up2 about 1.5 bar & bleed the rads topping up the pressure as necessary don't 4get that the final pressure should be about 1 bar when cold, if u take the pressure above 3 bar the pressure relief valve will open & once they do that they tend to leak

phil did you bleed them all after repairing, turn heating on and get a bleed key from hardware and start on any rad but bleed them all twice airlocks move.
To be sure this is prob turn heating on now and give it 10mins then feel both pipes feeding the rads (bottom left and right) you should find heat in one side.

Hi,
Nornily just air in the system try the following.

1/ Take the boiler preasure up to about 2-21/2 bar (tiurn off power to boiler as you do not want it to start.

2/ start at the highest Rad and vent it.

3/ Work your way though ALL the Rads.

4/ Make sure that the boiler presure does not fall belew 2 bar but not above 3 1/2

Hope this helps.
