Mend Leaks Wet Water

leaks?

i have recently discovered a really wet water patch in the middle of my bathroom carpet. its slowly expanding however there is no sign of leakage from any of the pipes in the surrounding area? what could this be and how can i fix it?

Sam,

You can't fix it until you discover where the water is coming from.

It will either be coming from above or from below - you need to go on a voyage of discovery - interrogate other members of the household about their bathroom habits - lift the carpet and take a peek.

A recent leak dripping into my kitchen came from shower water getting behind the tiles through the grouting and flowing unseen until it found a way out of the bathroom above.
