My camera is only 6 months old, was working fine until it appeared as though the batteries had run out. I put brand new ones in and then the camera just would not turn on at all. When I press the power button it looks as though it is trying to turn on but the shutter does not fully open and hten beeps 3 times and goes dead.
Can anyone help or will I have to buy a new camera??
How do adjust the display brightness so I can see what I shooting?

They say that the camera needs to run on Ni-MH batteries of at least 2500mAh capacity - ordinary alkaline (duracell) batteries are not powerful enough.

Samsung now how their own repair set up. Simply ring the following number, 08457267864 Press option 5. Explain the problem and if it cannot be resolved over the phone, they will send you a bag in which you can return the camera for them to fix. Brilliant
