lawn mower smoking and engine seems to be running slower?
when I cut grass this evening, the mower didn't have as much power as ususal and light black smoke kept blowing from the front of the mower. The engine acted like it was about to cut off. What's up?
Black smoke is an over rich fuel mixture, and the air filter is the first thing to look at.....try running the machine without it - if power is restored then buy a new one.
