Mend Worcester Bosch Highflow 400 Boiler Combi Heating

Worcester bosch highflow 400 combi boiler NOT working? ?

Hello the boiler cut out the other day i have tried to light it by depressing the grey button then lighting the pilot light hold it down for about 60 secs but it won't stay alight, tried pressing the reset button (red) which seems to do nothing either can any one help me with any ideas please andy

Let aregistered gas installer sort it out//don't go using naked flames near gas(i.e. a cigaretter lighter)//

just ask for a universal thermocouple. (it may also be the gas valve, but unlikely)

Many thanks Ian i'll try what you said, do i need a thermocouple for this boiler or would another do the job

not if the thermocouple is burnt out, it'll need replaced.

Thanks for telling me if i get a fag lighter on the end of the thermocoupler would this trick it in to lighting many thanks

Probably a faulty thermocouple ( the part that senses of the pilot is lit)
