Mend Sanyo Work Cable Matter

How do I fix the MENU button on my Sanyo?

The MENU button on my television doesn't work, so I can't program my cable as I need to. I've opened up the TV, and it's not a matter of the connections not hitting...even when I push it by hand it doesn't bring up a MENU.

Does the Menu button work on the hand control? If it's just the Menu button on the TV itself that doesn't work, you may find it has a child lock function switched on.
