How do i fix new door seal to bosch wfl 2260?

If it is too difficult to fit the inner seal, the front of the machine can be removed, viz, open the bottom drain cover, carefully remove the Torx screw and push fastenings, slide the bottom panel off, undo the 2 front panel screws. Remove the top left soap drawer and remove the bottom right hand screw- front panel pushes up slightly then drops off. Stand it at the side (wiring to door catch prevents outright removal. Gives much better access to inner seal- still need 4 hands to fit- like a bike tyre!

This takes about ten to 15 minutes first time to do. I bought a new seal off ebay from a company called Appliancehelp@ntlworld.com for £15.94 delivered. Only two springs hold the seal in place. One outer and one inner. The outer spring can be seen, so just gently prise it off (this is mostly a wire with a small spring). Take a note of the postion of the inner holes in the seal so you fit the new seal in the same position. To make it easier to get at the second inner spring pull the front of the seal off the lip on the machine chassis and fold the whole seal back into the drum temporarily so you can deal with the inner spring around the drum. The rear of the seal sits over a white plastic ring and the drum spring (this time it is all spring with two loops on the end that interlock. Gently prise this off too then remove the rear of the seal off the lip on the druum. Reverse the process to fit. It's all rather like fitting a bike tyre to fit - so for a short period you will need someone to assist holding the rear spring in position in the groove whilst you ease the rest around the groove (as you have to obviously stretch the spring around the drum).
