Singer 4220 Sewing Machine New Problem Please Help!!!?

I just posted a Question about my Singer 4220 sewing machine and got a GREAT response THANK YOU so much for that!! Though I am having a problem I took the back off of the machine but I need to get the front off to access the bottom of the machine under the raceway I have taken all the screws out, the front of the machine will not come off and it seems to be the Pattern Selector Dial that is stopping the front from coming off is there any way to get the front off please let me know thank you so very much!!
