Mend Nissan Micra Central

nissan micra 2003 boot does not close?

i have a nissan micra 2004 model. central looking is working but the boot door does not close or lock

If the boot lid won't shut at all, then the lock itself is broken. I assume that the locks are undone before you try to close it though, as a shut lock will only bounce off the striker pin.
