Mend Honda CRV Connected Wires Door

Have disconnected electronic controlled mirror on a CRV - ?

Now connected only by wires. I believe I need to remove door panel to disconnect wires.

The problem I am attempting to solve is that mirror bypasses stop on initial ignition.
