Mend Thomson DTR Tv Box Record

Where has the TV Guide gone on my Thomson DTR?

My DTR box comes on but the TV Guide is blank but says 'Undefined - No guide date available, No synopsis available'. This means I cannot record from it but have to use the timer.
Any suggestions as to why it has not appeared for the past four days?
