A flame in a tumble dryer is potentially dangerous and you should stop using it immediately.

It is unlikely to be a fuse issue - a blown fuse would not permit any operation - your fuse appears to be intact because you get heat for 5 minutes.

It's not a boiler is it? If it is, it helps to say what make and model.
