how to get the range back on my car?

after heavy rain. my immobiser box on roof got flooded. after much dryin out it now, only lock an unlock if i in the car. an only after repeated pushes of the button. how do i get the range bk on it???? so i can lock an unlock outside car? r reg renauilt cilo panche
