my camera over heats plz help?

my camera over heats and will not turn on and ive taken the battery out and the memory card and put them back in but it stil wont work. if the camera does decide to come back on then the screen is black and the lens wont open then it opens on its own and stil the screen is black some one please help me how do i fix this problem????
