Daf CF 85 cannot start, its showing engine warning. what is the problem?

when the lorry is ideling for a 10 mins it starves it self of fuel runs on 3 cylenders and cuts out

if the vehicle crancks over and warning light comes on but doesnt start this is usually pointing to an immobiliser fault. firstly check that the chip is still fitted inside the key(little glass vile). if this is intact and fitted correctly the the other known fault is the wiring loom between the bulkhead connectors and engine ECU. which have a problem with water ingress or chaffing on the securing brackets.best bet is to get daf to put their diagnostics onto the vehicle and get fault codes
