Mend Flick Mixer Hot Kitchen

Only warm water from new Flick Mixer?

Gas hot water system, good hot water from all other Hot taps, My new kitchen flick mixer when moved to the hot side and ON only supplies luke warm to cold water... just above neutral. Is there a way of adjusting the flick mixer to give hot'er water. or is it a safety thing. we boil the kettle for sink water now.
