Mend Plumbing Flush Toilet

Toilet will not fill with water or flush?

my push button toilet will not fill with water and will not flush. The flush button is very loose.

i pull chain waqter only fills up so far if i push bar down it lets in more water and then it will flush

Two separate issues here....the loo won't flush unless the cistern is full, so you have a fill valve problem. Lift the cistern top off.....can you see some sort of plastic float? This should be down if the cistern is empty, allowing water in.
