I have a Vauxhall Zafira 1.8 SRI - the ESP (Electronic Stability Program) light has come on and remains on while driving. Is this something to worry about (as I have not noticed any change in responsiveness etc) and is there a way to reset it myself please?
My Zafira is an sri and Vauxhall dealership have quoted £1700.00 to replace the ABS unit. I still have brakes and the ABS works as no light is on for that just have to settle for no ESP.

I have the same model as you and experiencing the exact same problem. The car is just outside of the warranty and vauxhall have diagnosed the ESP has failed. Sounds like a common fault to me. I am trying to negotiate with them at the moment as they are very expensive to replace. Have you had yours changed? would be great to have a result.

The light comes on because there is a fault, you could take the bulb out but the fault would still be there!!!!
Find a garage with decent diagnostic equipment and get the fault codes checked then start a new post.
