try this may work may not as this reset is for a E 270 CDI Merc.
Turn the key to position 2,
press R button (the button to reset petrol gauge etc..)
release R button,
turn key off and press the same button,
whilst holding it turn key to position 2 again and hold for ten seconds
service indicator should say there s 10,000 miles to next service
may take a couple of tries.
