Mend Bosch 10H Hot Water Minutes

Fix Bosch 10H hot water heater?

The heater ignites OK, burns well for a few minutes but flame gradually dies and wont readily restart. I think it may be a faulty gas regulator or perhaps there is an in-line filter that could be partially blocked. Any ideas?
